Valentine Ozigbo Celebrates Mothers On Mothering Sunday
A MOTHER’S LOVE IS HUMANITY’S MOST POWERFUL ALGORITHM’: VALENTINE OZIGBO CELEBRATES MOTHERS ON MOTHERING SUNDAY
In 2025, as technology advances and reshapes how we live and work, one truth remains timeless: a mother’s love is the most powerful algorithm for humanity’s progress. Mothers worldwide are the original game-changers who nurture not just children, but entire civilizations.
My mother taught me that real strength is in the quiet sacrifices that build families, and I owe the man I am today to the morals and lessons I learnt from her wisdom.
To my dearest Ojiugo, you are God’s greatest gift to our family. Your love is the quiet force that holds us together, and your wisdom lights our path. On this Mothering Sunday and every day, I celebrate you, not just as an amazing mother to our children, but as my partner in building a legacy of love and service.
Having attended services at both the Anglican Cathedral of St Faith, Awka and Holy Ghost Catholic Cathedral Enugu, I am delighted that this is one of those years where our Catholic and Anglican mothers can be celebrated on the same day.
As we celebrate, we must also act. We can advocate for better work conditions for mothers, affordable childcare tech-hubs, and zero tolerance for gender-based violence. This is because true progress means creating a world where mothers thrive, not just survive.
When we say Anambra will rise, we know our mothers will lead that rise. From politics to boardrooms, our mothers deserve seats not just at the table, but at the head of it.
To every mother reading this: You are the living gospel of love. May your devotion ignite a chain reaction of progress.
Happy Mothering Sunday!
