In a significant political development, Valentine Ozigbo has formally resigned from the Labour Party, announcing his decision at a State Executive Committee meeting in Awka, Anambra State. Ozigbo, who submitted his resignation letter to his ward Chairman, had previously informed Labour Party leader Peter Obi and the National Chairman of his decision.
In his announcement, Ozigbo emphasized that his departure represents a strategic move toward building a new political movement focused on Anambra’s development. While his next political affiliation remains unannounced, he stressed that his commitment to transformative leadership and state progress remains unwavering, stating “This is not a moment of uncertainty.
